How The Economic Crunch Will Affect Casino Games

September 21st, 2008

Given the current lackluster state of the economy today, many people have voiced concerns about how this will affect casino games. These concerns come in the wake of the news that many casinos have been cutting back on their comps. One of the issues regarding casino games that are a cause for concern in particular is whether casinos will start to tighten their slots machines. No deposit casinos is a excellent way to try out casino games prior to purchasing to see how loose the machines are.

The reality is that this is unlikely to happen primarily because all slot machines are legally required to have a computer chip installed in them that dictates the percentage of the pay back. Aside from being time consuming and very expensive to change, doing so will have to be subject to approval by governing bodies of casino games.

Furthermore, tightening slots machines–and making it even harder to win casino games for that matter–will only serve to drive gamblers a way even more. And given the current state of the economy, that’s the last thing that the industry needs.

Choices In Casino Games

June 14th, 2008

It is fairly common knowledge among gamblers that there are quite a few casino games that are poor choices primarily because of the high edge that they give the house. What is not as commonly known however is exactly how high the house advantage is for these casino games. Here then are a few casino games that are poor choices for betting and should probably be avoided as much as possible.
Keno is a game that is a lot like the lottery. The house edge for Keno may vary from casino to casino but they can go as high as 25%.
Called the Big Six or Wheel of Fortune slots, this long time carnival game is notorious for giving the house an advantage ranging from 11% to 24%.
Caribbean Stud Side Bet is one of those casino games that seems to be a good idea…until you realize that the house advantage can be as high as 26%.
